I did some PvP'ing in Dark Souls 3. I'll give the PVP in its current state an F. IMO, it's worse than the PVP in Dark Souls 2.

X-com 2.
Oh boy, what a game. Vast improvements over the 1st part. Although they didn't completely change any of the game mechanics, they worked on each one of them. And they knew what they were doing.
I finished the 1st part once and that was it. Here, with a ton more "rpg" or story elements and choices, a very deep character customization system (if you love the sims you'll love this I don't, so I only spent an hour or so on 2 characters and moved on to actually playing) and a long campaign - it's simply great.
Haven't finished it yet though, it is possible it will suck dramatically in the end (though I doubt it). About the only things that I had a problem with were the camera - sometimes during urban fights it was close to impossible to find a good point of view - but only sometimes. Other than that? No major or minor technical or gameplay problems.
so far ? 8+/10, possibly a 9 in the end.

Dark Souls III: A. I just love the Dark Souls (including Bloodborne) series. There are some weakpoints yes but it has to be my favorite franchise in modern gaming. I love that it completely bucks the worst trends of modern gaming: No minimaps nor map at all for that matter, no waypoints/quest markers, no task lists, no enemy highlights, etc etc. Glorious.

Enter the Gungeon 5 out of 5. As addictive as Binding of Isaac, I will probably sink quite a lot into this one.

Played through a couple games twice.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Hard game for me to rate. It felt very polished, & the game did everything right. Story, shooting mechanics & feel, graphics etc. But it never gripped me & gave me the "I can't stop playing this" feel. I'd likely give it an A if it had double the enemies to kill & less searching for treasures & tombs, but the treasure searching is what Tomb Raider is, so I can't knock it. They do the shooting stuff so well though that I craved more enemies.
B+

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Another hard one for me to rate. My goodness this game was fun. I love that the main story is short so you can spend more time running around killing captains & war chiefs (which is extremely fun). This game copies so many missions straight from Assassins Creed along with combat from Batman that it makes me want to downgrade the rating. But maybe copying gameplay is a thing all game makers do now, because there's only so many ideas game makers can come up with.
