I don't play them anymore, but back in the day I liked SF over MK.

I use to exclusively play SF( can't wait for SFV) but over the past few years, I've expanded my horizons to include BlazBlue,King Of Fighters,Persona 4 Arena and am itching to get into Guilty Gear.

It really comes down to SF or MK. I pick Morrrrrtal Kooommmbat. Mortal Kombat changed games in a huge way. I do not like the newer setup of mortal kombat games.
Killer Instinct deserves a mention as it was a great game and introduced combos. Tekken came later. I hated Tekken, Soul caliber, and Primal Rage.
What! You did not include the marvel vs capcom series.
I am 31 years old woman. I only played fighting games with my older brother.

Street Fighter has been my favorite since I got hooked on it in the early 90s. I'm looking forward to SFV and using Vega, who is now a circle character instead of a charge character.
