Seeking Retirement communities for Seniors (Richmond, Springfield: cul-de-sac, real estate, apartment)

We are 2 female veterans who would like to find a community of mainly retired people, near bus lines, movies, shopping, etc. Anyone out there able to suggest a place? We are in Texas right now.
