Hi all

I am currently living in NY, Long Island. I have a family (10 year old and soon to be 14 year old) Always liked VA. Visited there several times and I fell in love with VA Beach. Was looking at apartments in the VA Beach area, and a few of them are very nice.

I am a ATM technician/Computer technician and was wondering what the job market in that field is like there? Any recommendations on where to check to submit a resume besides career builder?

Do you have a security clearance? If you want to work in computers in the area, you will be competing with recently retired service members who most (if not all) have some sort of security clearance. It's a very very very competitive field.

As for the ATM technicians, I'm not sure.

Unfortunately the job market in the area wasn't great about a year ago but it's probably getting better and might be better than what you experience in NY.

Keep in mind too that cost of living is significantly higher in VB than almost any other city in the area.
