As usual, the polls tighten as Election Day approaches. Please, before you trash the Washington Times, realize this is a Quinnipiac poll. Hardly right wing.

I think the internal polls are even closer hence Clintons and Obama's campaign appearances. Notice they are not campaigning for the Democrat running against Christie in New Jersey.
There were others released today that showed a higher gap. Roanoke College has the lead at +15. I'd say +4 is low and +15 is high. Lots say 7-8, which is probably pretty close.

Maybe his base and the wavering Sarvis supporters are shifting, as is usual as Election Day approaches.

Wait, the Va. governor’s race is a dead heat?

Seems to answer my other earlier question -- If McAullliffe is so far ahead, why are both Clintons and Obama coming to campaign for him when there are so many other problems going on in this Administration.

Maybe those polls the Post likes to blast all over the front page are not quite what they seem.
Cuccinelli is going to lose the election. Period. The only question is by how large the McAullliffe margin of victory is.

The disastrous roll-out of Obamacare has been a bit of any eye-opener. Now that we've read the bill and know the lies about it are piling up, a lot of people are not happy.

Obamacare -- the efficiency of the dmv with the fuzzy, warm touch of the IRS.

It will impact this election, particularly if some of Sarvis' supporters own small businesses and self-insure. Sarvis has a future but not as Governor this time.

And here's another reason to ignore newspaper endorsements. The Times-Dispatch choses "no one" for governor then has an article like this:

Today

Oh, well, at least they didn't wait until after the election.

Okay, so, put your money where your mouth is. Who do you think is going to win, and what will be the margin of victory?

I reckon McAuliffe will win, with a margin of victory of greater than 5%.

What say you?

Sorry -- I don't have a crystal ball and we've worked too hard to gamble our money. There are too many, especially young, people, that get their news from comedy shows so nothing will surprise me any more.

However, a few more article like these won't help:

Obama Officials In 2010: 93 Million Americans Will Be Unable To Keep Their Health Plans Under Obamacare - Forbes

Obama leadership style raises question of 'who is in control?' - NBC Politics

When NBC finally starts to tell the truth about Democrats, you know you've got problems. And Democrats own Obamacare -- lock, stock and barrel. Look at Mary Landrieu running like a scared chicken.

Speaking of working hard -- gotta go.

The left-leaning Roanoke Times also endorsed no one today (they backed Obenshain for AG and Northam for Lt. Gov).

As for predictions i think KC will have a very narrow victory, like 1-3%. I think Jackson will lose by over 5% and Obenshain will win by 3-5%.

You'd be nuts to pass up the opportunity to have this in Virginia.
Why do people always equate "blue" states or more liberal leaning places to Detroit? What about California, specifically Northern California and Washington state that are blue, but are hot beds of innovation and technology along with lower crime rates and good quality of life. Although I don't want sky high taxes, I'm not so fixated on them like like a lot of people are in this country. I don't mind paying taxes as long as it goes to projects that work and are efficient. Like spending tax dollars toward public transit projects such as Metro or added VRE service vs. not spending tax money on them and being stuck with private toll roads, crappy roads, and endless traffic congestion.

I'm going to vote for Terry McAuliffe, mostly because of Cuccinelli and the "Bishop" see me as a second class citizen who is "mental" ill.

That's why. It's Detroit waiting to happen; with much less water.

And it's not just Detroit; look at other awesome not totally jaw dropping murder rate statistic Democrat run cities like Newark, Camden, New Haven, Baltimore, D.C, Chicago, Atlantic City, Flint, Saint Louis, Memphis, Little Rock.....

CA has the most overcrowded prisons and gangs in the country, what is this low crime? And the hot bed of innovation and technology label would have been accurate 15 years ago. You can't support a welfare state based on an outsourceable industry.

As for WA I assume it's too rainy for anyone to leave their meth shacks which keeps things running smooth.

Anyone who sticks up for CA is mentally ill.
