Hi Everyone, I am looking to relocate to Fairfax county for services my special needs child needs. My job will be in fredericksburg, with one day at stafford. Work hours 8-5 all weekdays. In my research, the commute is 45-50 mins in the morning and at least an hour in the evening. Anyone who has a similar commute and could share their experiences? Any advice is welcome!

95 south and 66W are the worst roads in the state for congestion. Your commute is reverse and traffic volume has not returned to previous levels so I would say this is doable but you would probably be better off splitting the distance and living in Prince William County. It's cheaper there and taxes are lower. I strong suggest you plan your commute to avoid rush hour.
