does anyone know what traffic would be like going to/from winchester to martinsburg with and w/out the rush traffic......... thanks!!!

Strictly an Interstate-81 drive, lots of 18-wheelers all times of day and night, not much of a rush hour surge in either direction except on some of the exit ramps.

If 81 gets jammed up, Rt. 11 will get you there and back as well.

thanks! how long does it normally take? for ex: in houston going about 20 miles can take anywhere from 30min w/out traffic to slightly over an hr w/traffic (and no wrecks)....thank you again.

Took me 26 minutes, and it was thirty miles, straight up 81, no traffic. Never attemped it with traffic or bad weather, but like I said, Rt 11 goes the same way, just straight through all the funky little towns along the way.
