My husband & I are moving to Petersburg & we've already found a house on Deerfield Drive which the ad said was in the 'Walnut Hills' area. My husband will be stationed at Ft Lee, so we were trying to find a close place. Our new landlords were adament about the fact that we would not be in 'ghettoville'. While researching the area we discovered that there are sex offenders all around us & the crime rate is terrible. We feel completely bamboozled! Now i'm terrified & nervous. Can anyone please ease my mind & shed some light on this part of Petersburg.
