Besides traffic-is there anything bad about Fredericksburg

One problem is that residents from many, many counties around all converge on Central Park and Spotsy Mall to shop, since their counties have no major stores. And only the two Rappahannock River crossings exist, which are on I-95 and on US-1. So when you combine all the shopping traffic with the commuter traffic to/from DC, along with long-distance Interstate traffic, everything gets funneled right through F'burg, making a massive jam-up.

Actually there are 4 Rappahannock crossings, 95, route 1, Chatam Bridge into Downtown, and the Route 3 Bridge by Ferry Farm. And honestly, I've lived in Fredericksburg my whole life and traffic can be bad especially, at peak times in the morning and afternoon, but once you know your way around town it's not all that bad. As far as shopping goes it's improving, with tons of development in Massaponax, along Rt. 17, and on 610 that less and less people need to go to Central Park and the mall, so I can honestly see things improving from here on out.
