I recently moved to Colesville, MD from Raleigh, NC. I'm looking for a Silversmith who can fabricate a silver pendant mount for a nice Blue Topaz stone I've got for my Wife and also maybe a men's ring for another stone. All I'm finding is big Jewelry chains with no interest in Silver, just Gold and Platinum work and then only if you buy the stone from them.
Can anyone recommend a Silversmith of the small shop, craftsman type? I prefer outside D.C. metro, maybe Silver Spring or Rockville. Colesville is a dead zone for craftsman, apparently. Thanks! - SuperTech!

Try these folks: Julien Rey Jewelry | Savage Mill

Savage Mill has a wonderful section of shops for craftsmen. Savage is off Route 1, north of Laurel.
