How far did you take the ICC?

I use the ICC to access Georgia Ave to I-95 and I love it. No need to fight my way down Georgia or Conneticuit to get to the Beltway. I'll happily pay the toll since it saves me gas, time and money, and also saves Beltway "space" for someone stuck there. If you don't like it, don't use it.

I do agree it needs to be raised from 55 to 65 MPH. Unlike other Maryland drivers I consider myself a 'big boy' who doesn't freak out when my car goes about 40 MPH.

Honestly Maryland, trade in the Camrys and get something that goes highway speeds.

BTW I thought it was a nice road, but they need to raise the speed limit!
I think it's an extra $3.00 everytime you get on it without EZ Pass but don't hold me to that.

It was calculated that raising the speed limit to 65 saves 3 whole minutes from end to end. I think it should be kept as it is. I set my cruise control at 62 MPH and never had a problem.

I took it tonight from Laurel to Shady Grove Road and I hardly saw anyone on it. I know I went a stretch of 5+ miles without seeing anyone. I was smiling when I heard a traffic report of slow traffic due to trouble on the outer loop of the beltway.
After 11 PM (?) the price drops to $1.65.

I love it. It is a very nice road.

All of the way, in both directions. My daughter missed the exit for Metro and ended up having to turn around at Georgia Ave. $2.45 each way. I didn't look to see how much of that was fees.

I thought it was $2.00 but then they changed it to the cost of half the fare (so your total bill would be 150% of the total).

Obviously they've done a great job at communicating this to the general public.

It's only a matter of time before O'Malley's goons figure out they can use the EZPass information to calculate your speed (average between transponders) and start sending out speeding tickets. Watch your speed, even when there are no police or cameras around. They could probably get your speed information retroactively and send out tickets for speeding before they even announce the possibility.

I refuse to get an EZ-Pass. I'm not paying the administrative costs that come with it. If it were free, maybe. I don't need any government entity automatically charging my credit card, No thanks.

I strongly suggest not to speed, or at least keep it under 65 MPH. I took it from Laurel to Gaithersburg yesterday late afternoon during rush time and I went through 2 traps. Like I mentioned I keep my speed at 62 MPH and I was not bothered.

I did not have to adjust my cruise control the entire trip.

If you would rather pay in extra time and waste more gas then go for it.

I'll take the ICC over 495 any day, especially during rush time.
