There was "talk" of a lot of different things. haha But we are changing the narrative, if we say, the MGM is what made NH successful. That's simply not true. I gave specifics as to why.

The only positive thing I can say about all of it is that it is easier to get a super shuttle on the fly from DCA if you didn't buy it beforehand and don't want to uber.

Yeah. Be specific. Because I went there on Friday and it was pretty nice. There are no homeless people begging for money. Nobody is in dark corners waiting to jack you. There's no trash and broken glass on the ground. The building is not drab or a big closed box, but forward-thinking architectural design. THere are art pieces all throughout which was a nice touch.

To me, it is no different than an enclosed mall with restaurants, shops, a theater, and a game room for adults (Dave & Buster's).

Again what makes it different then the"other spots in PG county",that you post about?Where in PG are the spots you are talking about ......(your words)"There are no homeless people begging for money. Nobody is in dark corners waiting to jack you",just wondering?See I have never said anything like that about PG or anywhere in any post, ever?

I disagree it is very nice.Except after one trip why go back? The Outlet Stores,I can buy everything they sell on line and not deal with the traffic.Unless I go to the Casino I can go to other spots in "our area" and do many of the same things without the congestion. That is my personal opinion....like it or not I don't care but selling something without being honest about everything to me is wrong.

After one trip, why go back? lol Well, there are other restaurants I'd like to try. If I really like one, I'll continue to patronize that restaurant. We only went to one. Also, I'd like to check out the watch store that wasn't open when I was there. There may be a show I want to see at the theater. I wanted to see Jim Gaffigan. I may want to stay at the hotel for a staycation. All those things bring people back. Not just the casino.

I went on a Friday night last week and there was no traffic and no congestion. We pulled right into the casino and pulled right in to a parking space. We weren't sitting at an exit or even any traffic signals. When you come off 295, there are no traffic signals before you get to the casino.

You talk about congestion, I RARELY go into DC for ANYTHING. I hate driving in DC. GEorgetowon? Forget it. Adams Morgan? It would need to be Sunday at 10:30am for brunch before I would travel into DC. And even then, the brunch crowds are heavy.

Oh stop it. I did the same thing. Congestion isn't as bad as you want it to be. But oh well you live in Charles county, so I guess you would know about sprawl and congestion
