Brand Name Knockoff vendors in DC? (Washington: to buy, lawsuit, malls)

I will be visiting Washington DC from Denver this coming weekend and I was wondering if I can find brand name knockoff bags?

I had visited NYC a couple of years ago and I saw street vendors selling knockoff brands everywhere. Unfortunately I didn't buy any and I totally regretted afterwards. I was just too overwhelmed by all the crowds and felt kind of nervous.

Is there any place in Washington DC where street vendors sell knockoff brands? Or will I have to make a trip NYC to buy a fake channel bag? Thanks so much!

Go a store called "The Studio" in Georgetown they'll get you outta the way.

other than that, most of the street vendors that sell knockoffs are in the hood.

I saw a vendor selling knockoffs/fakes around 15th/vermont near K street. Not sure though if the vendor is still there.

You won't find a lot of vendors selling knockoffs in DC like you will in NYC chinatown. As someone mentioned, you might try the hood...but which hood?..I have no clue.

What knockoff vendors have yall seen in the hood. You may want to try the hood malls (Super Hood= Iverson, Semi-Hood=PG Plaza)

I don't think you can find fake channel bags or any other fake brands in a mall. I,m pretty sure it's illegal. I think your best option is the streets. I think k street might be an option but you will have to ask around.

You obviously have never been inside of Iverson.

I don't know if they still do it, but ocassionally the DC police would raid Georgetown and crush and destroy the counterfeit goods the street vendors were selling. I do have a hard time imagining counterfeits being sold inside a mall, since mall management could get hit with a huge lawsuit by some deep-pocket companies - but I've not been in Iverson Mall so I can't rule it out.

I second that, Iverson is probably hands down the most ghetto mall in the entire state of Maryland.
Its more like an indoor swap meet if anything.
