Your place is .3 miles from the metro and a totally safe walk. There's no point to wasting money on a cab at all. It's not suburban Virginia, so don't have your smartphone or wallet out at night (although I do in this area, but I'm male) and you'll be gravy. Don't forget to hang out at Meridian Hill Park on the weekends Beautiful place and you're so close.
