Won't be bad. Just you and everyone else who lives in Montgomery County trying to get to work.

Rush hour out of DC starts around 330. I know I've left the Pentagon area around 3-4 and hit traffic halfway to 495 on the GW parkway, then traffic on 495 north to 95. Awful drive.

That's very optimistic. I'd say Rush hour starts around 2.

You guys are mentally insane, I just drove on the GW Parkway North at 2PM today and it was fine. And then again at 4. And then at 6. Fine each time.

You got lucky. We leave Arlington at 3 pm, and get stuck in the line waiting to exit to the Inner Loop. Once we are on the Beltway, traffic sucks all the way to the top of the triangle where 270 splits into 2. 495 beyond the split with the 270 Spur looks awful too. That's what it's like nearly every time I go that way. However, I find that Canal Rd works better for me, and puts me on the Beltway right at the River Rd. exit. Actually, that would avoid the Beltway traffic completely.
