Hello all. I'm new to boating. Entertaining the thought of buying a power boat. Currently looking at a 22' Sea Ray Weekender.

Anyhow, I'm wondering what kind of boat -- if kept at Herrington Harbor -- I'd need to get me up the Chesapeake Bay to Baltimore or beyond. Some of the reading I've done leads me to believe that I'd need a 30' or larger boat for getting out on the Bay. This true?
