How could I go from the George Washington University (DC) to Princeton University (NJ)??

Metro to Union Station.
Amtrak to Princeton Junction on some of the Amtrak Regionals than NJT to Princeton
(or)
Amtrak to Trenton then NJT to Princeton Junction then the NJT Branch line to Princeton

(I'm not sure on the New Jersey Transit bit--someone else might offer better advice).
