I talked with someone from Century Link a few months ago. I didn't realize the company used to be Quest. They had a pretty good deal. But a good deal is only as good as the connection it provides.

I'm reading about the water rules now. You're right. Home buyers will have to make sure they understand what it means to them, should they buy in an affected area.

Thanks!
As a market farmer WATER is #1 factor in choosing an area to relocate too.... Without water I do not have work..

This looks very messed up.. Plenty of water for people in town to water thirsty decorative plants or lawn, but no water for people subsistence living or making a living off agriculture.?...

Any recommendations for me to dig deeper into water issues, more specifically in Jefferson County, Port Townsend/Chimacum areas?..

Ran into an ex-Seattleite at a dance party. She started talking to me because I had on my Marshawn Lynch jersey (most people here wear Adrian Peterson jerseys). She and her sister moved to my area so her sister could get specific college education. I told her about my days in Bellingham last summer, enjoying the 50's and 60's. We started ranging around in discussion of different places we thought were good. She's the first person who fixed on Sequim as an ideal spot to live. To which I added Port Townsend and maybe Dungeness. But we agreed: NOT Forks.

I'm over in Port Townsend and have Century Link high-speed DSL - 10 mbps more or less. I stream a lot of video because I don't have, and can't get, cable here, and the speed is just fine. We've lost service only twice in almost 3 years, and then for very brief periods of time.
