That is, indeed, a form of "scene" in that riders of a certain ilk tend to concentrate either there, same in Seattle, and/or the BMW dealers in both Seattle and Fife. Assuming all is where it should be, didn't make it to either BMW dealer this year that I recall. OP could do worse than turn up at these places.

And could do even better by nabbing these bargains on the open market after a couple yrs of LOW mileage ownership.

If your WA riding gets old, you can Ship bikes very cheap (often by air / much cheaper than YOU!) to NICE destinations in ASIA and Euorpe. That adds a bit of spice to your WA / PNW 'scene'. Pick up another 'near-new-used' one in PNW for the next season here at home.

I put about 10x the miles / KM / yr on my steads that are located elsewhere than 'wet_ern' WA. I used to ride in all weather, but grew too accustomed to Radio, HEAT, wipers, and DRY of my 'evil' WVO 50 mpg '4-wheelers'. It takes a LOT Of time to 'suit-up' for weather. Time is something I have very little left
