Cougars had a 32 point lead over winless UCLA tonight, and go down 67-63. 130 points total, where is the defense? But seriously, this is a horrendous loss for the Cougs.

I won’t say they coug’d it but someone will.

The two quarterbacks played out of their minds. The UCLA QB had just over 500 yds passing and the Washington St QB had nearly 600 yds and 9 TD's but still they lost. Amazing!

The 2 quarterbacks played incredibly but what happened to the Cougar defense? Embarrassing defense. Bet the Cougs will lose their No.19 in the nation rating, now.

I'm not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing here. The correct term is not "Coug'n it", it is Coug'd it. Ask anyone who has actually attended WSU, including yours truly. While the former term might have been used by some uninformed boozy students over the decades, it is only acceptable "during" the process. The result is the latter.

This game set a few all-time records. WSU quarterback Anthony Gordon passed for nine touchdowns, the most in Pac-12 history. The combined score of 130 was the most in Pac-12 history. And still trying to find this stat, but I believe it was one of the biggest blown leads in college football history. It certainly was for the WSU program.

Yep, they are out of the top25 on the ESPN ratings. Washington and Oregon both move up, Washington +5 to #17, and Oregon +3 to #13.

I watched the UW-BYU game and the Huskies have definitely stepped up their game. Or BYU is not that competitive. I'm going to prefer the former.

BYU is always a tough place for the away team. Fans are rabid and the stadium is very close to the field. Nice win for the dawgs.

I assume you're noting the present vs past tense.

I attended another WA public Uni, not WSU.

I Grew up going to Husky football games but always root for Wazzu against non-pac 12 teams.

Many people from my western washington area high school went to WSU.

I like Mike Leach also and am glad that Falk and Minshew are playing in the NFL (Among others).

Yes, past tense vs present tense. I didn't mean it to come off as criticism .

And another Yes on WSU does receive a huge number of westside students. Some go for the party atmosphere, some go for WSU specialties such as Veterinary Medicine, Radio/TV Broadcasting, and Blowing Big Leads.
