Other than English. I'm guessing French? But you seem to have a large asian population as well. Other than English what language do YOU hear the most?

I am not really looking for charts and graphs.. just from what you know, what language seems to be the most popular?

Actually, growing up in Eastern Washington, I didn't hear any one speaking French. But I didn't hear the above as well as the local American Indian dialects.
On the west side in some areas, you'll hear Mandarin.
But, overall, you're going to hearing mostly English--and if not English, Spanish.

Fairly large Russian-speaking population around the Tri-City region as well. Spanish is quite common, I know one gal that speaks native French, it's much less common here than around Quebec.

French? Pretty rare, I would say.

Spanish is #2 in WA, especially east of the cascades. Japanese, Vietnamese, and Russian west.

No French, but Korean, Chinese, English, Vietnamese, Japanese and Spanish. And I hear four of those just in my development. There is a Korean church about a quarter mile away and I get my haircut at a barber shop run by some nice Korean ladies (and no, this is not related to the barber shops in Korea itself). We also have Japanese, Thai and Chinese restaurants in my town of about 30,000. The Thai place especially kicks ass.

The only drag is that it is pretty much impossible to find good Mexican food here in western Washington state.

Mostly Spanish in the Tri-Cities. Mitch is right about Russian, and Serbo-Croatian (Bosnian) is also not rare.

Around King County, other than English, I'd say Spanish is by far the most common, then Russian/Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog ( Filipino), Hindi, Ethiopian,...and I too never hear french spoken.

You cannot get a job in social services east of the Cascades unless you speak Spanish.

You can find many jobs where it is not required that you speak English. I get solicitation on the phone in my first language all the time. When I ask to switch to English they just hang up.
