^^ Weather stats alone, Melbourne's July (mid-winter there! ) sounds nicer with 114 hrs of sun.

Hottest day cooler, but coldest day about the same.

I'd gladly take 10 hours of sun if it meant temperatures that cool. Of course, I'm not a big sunshine fan anyway, so that's not saying much.
