I've heard that the Pacific Coast of Colombia is the wettest place in the world, supposedly rains EVERY DAY there, Buenaventura gets 247"/6275mm of rain/year, evenly spread, no dry season
Malabo, Equatorial Guinea averages 2.9 hours of sun per day, which is just barely above 1000 hours of sun per year. http://www.dwd.de/DWD/klima/beratung..._648100_kt.pdf
And this is a city at sea level the, the mountain areas should be cloudier.

Quibdo and Tutunendo, Columbia have annual average precipitations of 10,749 mm/423.19” and 11,394 mm/448.58” respectively.
Puerto Lopez, Columbia may be the wettest place on earth. Apparently there's insufficient data to give it this title, but it's average appears to be over 500 inches annually.
I know this thread is kind of old, but I just saw the climate data of Totoro, Colombia, at about 2N 76W, which claims only 637hrs of sun a year, which is insane. (Source: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Totor%C3%B3).
If the data's accurate Totoro would be by far the cloudiest place in the tropics. It would also be even cloudier than Torshavn (cloudiest major settlement with 840hrs sun) and about as cloudy as Campbell Island, which a lot of people have cited as the cloudiest place on Earth. What do y'all think?

Your link didn't work for me, and a google search of Totoro columbia comes up empty. You mean Tutenendo?
