Sapporo this time. It's worse with 18 hours. Tokyo is only 16-and-a-half. Now's a quarter to 1 and I'm about to have sahur.

Bronski, do you have 25-hour clock (e.g. 25:00 for 1am the next day?) It's to avoid confusion (eg 09:00-01:00 (the next day) vs 09:00-25:00, the first one is confusing)

6:38 sunrise and 8:47 sunset - for all practical purposes, we're still at the very longest days of summer, with the days only shortening by a minute and nine seconds a day.

August is when I start the mornings getting a bit darker, with evenings following later in the month.
