Still pitch dark almost 7am now. How can you not like the time change. This is horrible, I feel like going back to sleep. Poor kids waiting for the bus in the dark too.
You should try being here, black at 7:30...whew. I can't wait for the time change - it stays dark way too long now.
Today's times:
Sunrise - 7:52 am
Sunset - 6:48 pm
If we were forced to go on winter DST like they did in '74 (what a fiasco that was!) - our latest sunrise time would be an insane 8:43 am. That's why they had to shift the school start times an hour later when we were on winter DST, so we'd not have to walk to school in the dark.

I could see a little light before 7 am. Brighter earlier mornings would be nice, but they wouldn't matter much to me.

Sounds like you have to wake up earlier than me. I like seeing seeing the sunrise in the morning, will have to wake up earlier after the time change. Coming home in the dark is kinda depressing. Don't always want to relax at home in the evening.
Try a sunrise of 9am in standard time, stop whining about 7am sunrises in DST.
