That's a pretty decent sunset time considering your lower latitude. You've got GMT -6 as standard time as far west as Winnipeg correct? I assume SK and AB have GMT -7 but not completely sure about that!

We're eight minutes ahead of the GMT +1 line so that's better than here in that sense, but still wouldn't trade the extra daylight we get annually by being farther north!

Winnipeg lies at the boundary of gmt-6 to gmt-7, so he is in a similar position to me. I think in the equinox, his times are similar.
