This Antarctic place has an average solar noon of around 4 AM on standard time and 5 AM around DST

Its latest sunset for 2019 is only 17:06/5:06 PM (first sunset after polar day period) on Feb 11 despite 75 south. Without DST it would be 16:06/4:06 PM, again, latest sunset, at 75 degrees south!

Earliest sunrise is 17:27/5:27 PM on Oct 31 (16:27/4:27 PM without DST), just before polar day period. Yes, earliest sunrise.

Both ends of the day starting to get lighter now. Also, first time we've gained daylight in the mornings here since June 10th! (if you don't count the switch to Standard Time in November that is).
