Very nice. Pleasant temperatures year-round and not overly sunny.
Lol at calling 11 C nights "arctic". That's like me calling 26 C hellishly hot. Give me a break.
I would have called 11°C nights Californian (true for Northern California near but not next to the coast). 11°C is an unusually cold summer night temperature for a temperate location.
lol. I am a fool yet you give it a crappy C-. Obviously you aren't particularly impressed with this climate either. LOL

Break is given. Damn is not.
11C AVEAGE low (the absolute low this cold would be considered cold let alone the AVERAGE) is just plain cold in summer. Having to rug up in jackets and sit under patio heaters at restaurants is not my idea of satisfactory summer weather.

The 856 metre or 2800 feet elevation would have a lot to do with this, such elevation is very signifcant here - and it would be regarded as a ""highland town"".
At 42 degrees south, this is like the Cradle Mountain base camp in Tasmania at 850 metres, which is much cooler than Burgos.
I would give this climate a B-/C+, cool temperate with a prolonged cool season, ok but nothing to get excited about.
at summer daily lows (lower than Toronto). Places like NYC, Boston and Philadelphia are actually warmer from April to November. To think that there is such a place in Spain...
Hehe, why on earth is there this stereotype about Latin countries? It seems that the words "cold" and "Latin" can't go in the same sentence for some people.
So, it isn't only with Latin America, but also with Spain, and I guess Portugal and Italy too.
For me, Burgos gets a solid B. Very nice temps for winter and summer. The only thing that keeps it from an A is the summer highs are a bit high.
This year, In June we fell to 3C/37F and in August we fell to 6C/43F.
In fact, all 3 summer months had average lows below 10c/50f.
Must have felt like an arctic tundra.
