WO is forecasting 14C on Christmas Day, so no chance whatsoever here. Could even be close to a record high for the day. I'll have to have a dig around and find out what our record is.
Probably. Highs in the upper 30s with lows in the upper 20s leading up to Christmas but there's still a decent amount of snow in the ground. Not sure 3 days are gonna melt all of it with highs only in the 30s.
I'll be visiting family near Albany though where it's less likely. There was barely any snow last week and a week of 40 will probably have melted it all. Supposed to be 40/21 with sun on Christmas. If there was till snow, that would be near perfect Christmas weather but otherwise not good.
Not here either, the sun is also predicted to be out and in spite of the clear nights it's going to be above freezing 24 h of the day for the coming few days...
It really felt like super-strong south-westerlies when I was outside yesterday evening. It felt like the wind offered a lift in north and eastbound directions
Snow is already on the ground.... high will be 38 today, 34 tomorrow, 38 Christmas Eve and 37 on Christmas. It seems to be melting pretty fast though, it feels about 50 degrees out now with the super cold weather we've been having.
It's quite mild here as well, but we're getting big fluffy snowflakes right now to freshen up the snow that had gotten a bit dirtier due to the warm-up in recent days. It's a perfect Christmas card view outside my window.
