I'd go crazy in climate 8 and rate that one the lowest of all. That one also probably gets the least sunshine. I'd assume the more continental climates would be sunnier year round and get more of its precipitation in heavier downpours. Maritime climates all have wasted cloud cover and drizzly rain.

it was hard for me to pick to, as like you I hate snow and cold and love my summers hot.
