Yoh! this must be the NOT USA out of towners' thread!
In southern Alberta we only pay attention to the lows. And it's still below 0 any way you measure it.

He must live near Calgary where they are lucky to hit +25 in the summer!

and Saskatchewan and North Dakota and Manitoba will be grateful for a loooong while yet for those overnight lows!!!

well for Miami the hottest ever recorded was only 100f(38c) on july 21,1942 but if you include the feel like temp we've had Heat index's of up to 114f(45.6c). I've personally experienced heat of 98f(37c) on multiple occasions with a heat index of up to 112f(44.4c) here in Miami. yeah it can get pretty hot here.
