I voted for Bejaia.

On the shores of the Mediterranean the wettest place is Risan in Montenegro with 2500 mm annually.
The place with less precipitation Port Said in Egypt with 75 mm year
The coldest city seems to Venice.
The more warm in summer seems to Antalya

BTW, why exactly do places near the Mediterranean Sea have a less mild climate than places at a similar latitude by the ocean? (OK, so places by the Med Sea are still sorta mild, but the air there is less "fresh.")

Venice is at the northernmost tip of the Adriatic sea, far norherner than any Med location, it's more of a Central European town climatewise.

Nice ,for the cooler temperatures - some cold temps in winter (mistral) , very outside chance of snow as opposed to zero chance , and thunderstoms - i think Nice is good on that count .

Genoa would have been even better of course

The Iberian, Italian, Turkish, Saharan and Arabic landmasses block the maritime air from taking prevalence.

A toss up between Bejaia and Alicante. They're quite similar to Sydney, temperature wise.

Alicante has brilliant sunshine hours. I wonder what the sunshine hours of Bejaia are? Its winters seem too wet.

It might be closer to Central Europe than the others, but it's still undisputedly on the Mediterranean.

Not much Mistral in Nice, if at all. Actually, when Mistral blows in Marseille and Toulon, it often means foehn conditions on the Riviera. Sure, the dew point will be in the -10s, but the temperatures won't follow. I've been living there for 3 years and only one frost has been recorded at the airport station over that timeframe.
