Yes was quite mild in the UK today, but was a lovely day in Malta & 18C, bang on average for December

-5.1 C (airport 12m) and -7.4 C (Voll 127m). My recording: -8.5C, RH 35%. Clear skies, calm, a beautiful and cold winter day, and I went skiing today.

Coldest day of the winter so far, Voll was down to -10 C. Next week this is all over, fram monday night the mild air is moving in. Predicted up to 8 C tuesday and almost as mild the next days.

Coldest in Norway today: Kautokeino (307m Finnmark plateau - as usual the coldest): -32 C
Warmest: Kvitsøy 9.3 C (island west of Stavanger)
