Looks like we are in for a hard frost tonight.

Although we are 200 miles south of Winnipeg Canada, it is usually cooler here.

Current weather up north in Winnipeg

Wow. That happens in mid December here.
Looks like you beat us to it today.

Still not an air frost in Buxton yet. Quite odd seeing as many places in England have already and we're at 300 meters.

We were threatened with a below freezing high here yesterday. Managed to break it by just 5 F. Yesterday night was a bone chilling 23 F.

AND WHY IS ND STILL WARMER THAN NJ. AT 8:15 AM WE WERE AT 26 F.

Many places in the Southern US recorded their first freeze this morning: Atlanta, Macon GA, Jackson MS, Montgomery AL, Columbia SC, Charlotte (down to 21F!), Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and Dallas. Mobile just missed freezing with 33F. Even DC didn't get their first freeze (Though earlier than the past couple years) until this morning.

First frost this morning, -0.3°C. However, Harpur Hill didn't record one and neither did Leek Thorncliffe.
