63 in central Minnesota, forecasting sunny,80, low humidity--------PERFECT !

We finally got 1 inch of rain yesterday afternoon ( hadn't had any since June 9)

Very spotty, 15 miles to the south got only a trace and 6 miles north go only .30

Richard, thank you for the info. We had a very cold winter in my area, too. We had many days that were 10 to 20 degrees below average. I hate those days.

ILNC, I'll trade you this winter. I saw that you guys had snow down there Christmastime, 2004. It was kind of funny how the news media was all over it. Guess it's cause snow isn't something newsworthy here.

Marmac, I keep reading your posts and see you're still my neighbor. Will you be moving this autumn?

Here it is 83 but the high is supposed to only be 83 today? If its 83 at 11 in the morning I am sure it can reach 85 easily by midday.

At least the humidity isnt high only 64% humidity today.

it's 90 with a 78% humidity....yeah.....that really sucks. Hey Jammie I can easily tolerate those temps, I tolerated -32 with a -40 windchill in Upstate NY, so I think I can tolerate that

Unfortunately, our winters have been very mild and damp, then the summers cool and damp, one could hardly tell the difference between the seasons. Snow is becoming very rare here and people here are starting to miss good old fashioned white winters, it seems to be confined to childhood memories of those older than around 30 in this country.

I see you like having 4 true seasons, like hot summers and cold winters? I think you would really like the Midwest, even though their summers are THAT hot.

yea I remember that night....I stayed in Tallahassee and it sleeted that night!!!!

The last white christmas that happened in North GA was December 24,1989 I think. This year we came pretty close because we had snow flurries mixed with sleet, and it covered the ground with about 0.5 inches of frozen precip. but I wouldn't consider it a "white" christmas.

I would love to live in a place with 100% probability of a white christmas, some place like Quebec, perhaps?

here in south FL it's 93 with 74% humidity
