I know you still don't like those temps, but considering you're in Texas that seems pretty mild for summer weather, plus with the 12 mph you have a nice, fresh breeze so you won't feel any humidity.
It will get worse as we get more into summer. But even with 12mph wind, to me the breeze is not nice, it just blows hot air and I still feel the humidity

Currently in Houston, TX
Fair 83°F
Feels Like
88°F
Dew Point: 72°F
Humidity: 68%
Pressure: 29.96 inches
Wind: From the South Southeast at 9 mph

We keep in touch by e-mail along with some of the other Quilter`s from the Guild. The rain storms we had here, have gone East. We even had a tornado that touched-down and overturned several empty Box Cars. That was in Marino Valley, just past the heart of Riverside. The locals there could`nt hardley believe it ! It caused other damage too. No one got hurt to my knowledge. The weather seems to be really crazy lately. Good Luck out there, Barb F.
I love Waynesville! It about 5 miles or less from my favorite place, Maggie Valley!!!! Oh how blessed she is to live there! I don't live in North Carolina, but I wish I did.

Looks like Houston is catching a brief break today.

man, if Melbourne's summer 'breaks" were as warm as 83F, I'd be happy.

Right now at 11:45AM it's a burning hot 50ºF and overcast, quite contrary to the "SUNNY" and low 60's forecast. They say a "hazy-sunny" afternoon, but, it is overcrappy cast with fog and other crap, can't even see the hills from place, which are only a couple of miles away.

surprise surfreakingprise.

We had to make a quick trip over to eastern Wisc. and it was kind of chilly and damp there. Actually, our entire trip going over was solid rain. We were lucky and missed any storms that were out there. It looks like Ia. and Neb. got hit pretty hard.

We came home at the perfect time~it's a beautiful 81 degrees here. FINALLY it may be springtime.
Welcome back Jammie. I am glad it is warming up for you

Sorry to hear you'll have a crumbier winter, but don't you think I still "deserve" a nicer than normal summer?
We just finished having a longer and extremely snowy winter this year.

Our summer months only average 75 F, 80 F and 78 F (respectively) when I'd prefer us to average at least 85 F, 90 F and 88 F.
With this forecast, they said summer will arrive late, but maybe we might average 84 F in July and 82 F in August in 2008.

Thanks for the welcome home. I didn't realize anyone ever read my ramblings.

It was 54 about an hour ago, but we're heading for 84 degrees today. YAY!!!! It'll be nice and warm today. We'll be standing up on Main Street because the Prez candidates have actually been showing up in our unpopulated state so we have to go and see them before they hit the big-time. At least I won't have to wear a coat.

Our average high today is actually 77 so it'll be another rare day where we're above that.

It's kind of funny because we were just with relatives who live in Az. and some in Tx. and they thought it was cold cause it was only about 70 degrees in Wisc.

Default Looks Good

Right now, it's 79 at D/FW. We're going up to a high of 95 today with sunshine and a few clouds.
