Regular cold, say 43 F (6 C) is painfull at times
and 19 F (-8 C) is ALWAYS painfull...
(neither of those are "extreme cold" to most people either )
43F= mild for me
19F= a tad chilly
Proper Gear= Many Layers, waterproof boots, waterproof outerwear, etc. I need that heavy equipment for stronger winds and under 15F

Okay, let me clarify. For me personally any cold is painful. I hate it whenever it's under 70F. I want it to be hot out all the time. Where I live, though, it's hot about three months of the year. Oh well, I love it here, anyway.

Extreme heat and extreme cold are both uncomfortable but I believe the saying goes "when hell freezes over" so I'm going to have to go with extreme cold with humidity, wind and a blizzard, the lake snow effect may sum it up.

I used to love winter,but the older I get the less I like it.It seems now I can tolerate the heat MUCH better.It's nearly time for me to buy a Caddilac,get some polyester clothes,learn to golf and head for FLA.

Day after day and week after week of uniformly grey skies with only the occasional drizzle as a change of pace is the worst I can think of. I need LIGHT!!! Or at least some variation in the clouds...

+1

Overcast and drizzle, especially if it is prolonged as it is this winter

Searing heat, especially desert heat that sap all the moisture out of your body. Give me a humid 30C over a dry 40C, please.

Heatwave and sunny. Nothing's worse than a 100+ F day where the sun is blazing in the sky.

Dull, rainy/drizzly conditions that last longer than a day.

A sunny heat wave in the summer tops it all. In the winter, slush is quite uncomfortable as well.
