Palagruža is the most remote Croatian island. It is situated in the middle of the Adriatic sea. It's the driest and the warmest part of Croatia, and also one of the sunniest, with about 2620 sunshine hours annually. It's quite windy, and has recorded only one frost this millennium, in March.
I give it a C- for the summers that are too warm. The sunshine hours are also too high, and it's way too dry.
Under the Koppen classification, Palagruža has a semi-arid climate (BSk, 0.47c short of being BSh).
Winters are way too mild (really much more fall/spring like than winter like, and almost never seeing a freezing low) and summer lows are pretty high. HOWEVER, I can't argue with that dryness, so that saves it from an F. I'm going to rate this E.
I am shocked to know that Croatia, which is one of the wettest countries in Europe alongside Norway, has this dry island, of which I never heard before.
It is indeed a mild climate, I mean the winters. Summers are a bit on the hot side but since it is an island, I do not mind, especially that its windy. So a temperature 29C would be comfortable for me, especially when swimming.
However its too dry, this is the main problem. I rate it a B.
