London looks good early next week. Couple of 30C days forecast.
I graduate on Monday

First 30C (about time) and sunny.. perfect! Given how this summer has been very unpredictable weatherwise, I'm very chuffed with that

August a write off then.

You'd be a lot quicker to post those charts if we didn't have a warm up next week.

Today (15 July) is St Swithin's Day, and according to tradition the weather on this day is supposed to act as a guide for the rest of the summer.

No idea how accurate it actually is, but it is currently 15C and drizzling in mid-afternoon

Cloudy and 19c would give us our coldest and cloudiest August on record. August will end up below average anyway, to ensure that every month of summer 2016 is cooler and cloudier than normal.

Kind of busy this morning. Closing on a house in San Antonio.... Actually have to go to the bank real soon to wire funds.

Didn't see your 14 day forecast until I saw your post above. Come on, even London should see a couple of 30C days a summer

June was above the mean by 0.3c, but that was due to the extreme cloudiness keeping the lows warmer than normal. The days were colder than average, and with the lack of sun felt even colder than normal.

We didn't see any 30c days in 2007 or 2008, and have only averaged about 2 per year since 2007. Terrible. I think this summer could rival 2007 or 2012 for crapness.
