snowdepths this morning. up to 30cm in eastern götaland.



extremly low temperatures in norway. that value in folldal must be exceptional for the first week of november. swedens all-time low in october is -31.5C, to put it into context.

Northern Hemisphere Snowpack in October was the 3rd most on record. And Canada never had this much snow cover.

Snow in Paris is quite exceptional this early ! I hope this translates into some cold and snow for us at some point.

Yes considering there has been no snow further north in Britain. Evaporative Cooling.

I've been checking out the weather in the Baltic region recently and there's a lot of 'sea effect' snow going on. The SMHI have a weather warning for Sweden's eastern coastal regions for this, looks like Gotland will be hit hardest.
