Lol, does Spain ever get average or below average temps in summer? Looking at the 15 day ensemble runs, it is just constantly above average every single day. I swear this is tied to that warm blob in the northeastern Pacific.
Looks unremarkable for the UK, and the model output right now gets worse every day. So annoying that the positive anomalies can't reach us for some reason but instead stop in Northern France and Holland. I hate living here sometimes.
It looks pretty average on our long term forecast, mostly mid 20s with a couple of days of 20-21c and a couple of days of 27c, and dry.

Northern Italy has had constantly above average summer temperatures for the past 18 years, and all of that isn't related to the current warm Pacific! EXTREMELY HOT HOT!
Since 1997 there have been just 4 below average summer months here, and 50 above average months
Also, most of the summer months are at least 2°C (3.5 F) warmer than 1971-2000 averages.

This remarkable summer warming has alluded the British Isles. There has to be a reason why every season seems to have gotten noticeably warmer except summer - the one season you actually want to get warmer.

Last summer was below average, especially during late June and early July.

I don't think it's smart judging a climate based off of one year. That's like someone thinking Philly is an arctic wasteland because of last February.

Sometimes but more than often it's above average.

That's actually appalling. Look how close the -5c uppers are to me.
