34c? In Northern Ireland? The highest temperature ever recorded in NI was 30.8c, so I highly doubt that. I'm in London right now and it only reached 27c...
He's in Florida lol, should probably post that with his updates or else people will think someone has put a huge fake sun above northern Ireland!

High today was 34.2°C / 93.6°F in the center of town and 32.1°C / 89.8°F on the official station on the shore.
As mentioned before the area near the dutch border was the hottest day and at my second home the island of Norderney the "old" record from August 2013 was smashed again with an official high of 34.1°C / 93.4°F. The weather station there is also near the beach, so i suppose in the town itself it was even one or two degrees hotter.
I'm going there again for a few days in Mid August, hoping for good summer weather like today, but it doesn't have to be above 30°C+.
Here's a screenshot of the highest temperatures in Germany today, Norderney being on the 11th rank overall and it was also the warmest station at the coast, usually its quite the opposite on hot days like this.
