I really disliked Dubai. It's a horrible, soulless, sandy dump. All the new bits are nice and shiny, but when you see what's going on behind the scenes, you really begin to realise that it's a pretty horrid place.
It is pretty horrid. I don't see what's so appealing about living there. I might not mind visiting, though.

I had a connecting flight there at 2pm and they made us walk on the tarmac. Not fun.
I can't wait for the day that Owen gets a job and realises that £300 is not a small amount of money.
Especially seeing as he is nearly 20 years old with no work experience, he will find it very hard getting a job with nothing on his CV so far when he leaves university.

Wait!? Hold on here a darn minute. You think that it is hard to save £300 in two years? Oh dear, I think you need to learn how to budget money.
Even if your only earning £10,000 a year as a cleaner you could easily afford to spend £300 on a return flight to go and visit relatives and stay in their house for FREE.
It just makes me furious when people come up with this excuse. Tell the truth, you can't be arsed. Don't give me that old chestnut.
Owen is a little parasite and contributes nothing. How dare this leeching waste of flesh criticise others about saving money when they receive an allowance like some 11 year old kid.

No. Even if you earn £10,000 if you put away £30 a month which is easy you'd have enough by the year to go and visit relatives and stay for free in their house.
There is no issue.
