I like the climate in Indianapolis. Typically, it snows just enough in the winter to meet my desire to see snow, and disappears fast enough to prevent me from going mad. The only advantage Denver has to me, is the lack of tornadoes.
Although Indy is better in mid-winter, Denver's winters are much longer lasting with more snow and more days with snow falling, but also more thaws. Indy's summers seem quite like ours: disgusting, hot, humid, etc., are words that come to mind. Denver's summers are also too hot but at least they're dry and a lot cooler at night. Denver wins this for me. Although I wouldn't like all their warm winter weather, at least they also get a respectable amount of cold and snow along with it for a good 6 months of the year.

Been living here in Denver for about three years now. 300 days of sunshine, winters aren't as bad as I thought, and the dry air in the summer (usually around 15-20% humidity) makes the 90 degree days pretty nice to be honest.
Never been to indy, so I can't chime in there LOL. But I've lived all over the country....born and raised in DC, lived in San Antonio, Charlotte, Seattle, Columbia SC, and now Denver. It's by far the nicest place I've ever lived, and I'll probably be here for the next 25 years.
