Just moved to Gaylord MI and we have gotten almost half of the snow already that we usually get for the year....Luckily we LOVE snow!!!

This graph and table will be updated daily between the hours of 11 am and noon EST. These were developed to show the snowfall totals progression each day throughout the winter season in comparison with what is considered normal up to each day, along with what is average for the entire winter season. Both the graph and table may be clicked to view a larger image.

Just saw this post and was just about to post the same image I found! Nice! Enjoy! I wish other WFOs did this same type graphic and kept up to date.

Amazing Sault Ste. Marie is over 4 feet above normal with snowfall. ITS ONLY DEC 11th! All I want is 4 inches! LOL!! They have over 6.5 Feet for the season so far.

Great look here at Top 20 snowfall departure from normal.

Sault Ste Marie & Marquette are 4 feet above normal. Anchorage 28.8 inches.

Cleveland Ohio is 10 inches above normal.

Through December 13th.

Through to 07:00 local time (14/12)
Calculated myself using every 24 hour snow depth, so not that accurate but gives an idea.



Just some locations, not necessarily the ones that received the most, but Katterjåkk so far has recorded the highest snow depth and snowfall amount.

Some parts of the piedmont got a trace of snow this morning. I'm not sure about the mountains; the snow reports for there haven't come out yet.

Pittsburgh has received less than 1" of snow in Dec just 10 times since 1880. With no snow in the forecast, Dec 2014 should join that list.

6th lowest December snow total for Pittsburgh this year with 0.2"

Yup Close! Nice one.

1950-51 was snowiest with 82.0"

2009-10 was 3rd most with 77.4".
