-4c and clear at 23:52 after 23 mm of precipitation today, which resulted in a snow cover of about 30 cm. The northeasterly wind is currently blowing at 37 km/h with gusts up to 65 km/h. On the coast the gusts are forecast to surpass 200 km/h.
We might even fall below 0F/-18c in the coming days, the first time since February 2012.
I am very impressed of how a wind can affect the weather. Before 30 minutes to 1 hour we had moderate NE winds and the temperature from 4 C climbed to 11 C. Now the winds stopped and the temperature is at 7 C. LOL!

Just checked the forecast for Zagreb and, wow, lucky you! Here the cold snap has been pretty much cancelled. Damn Atlantic. At least in Nice I don't get to bother about such things.
Forecast initially said down to -5 tonight. But this cold spell appears to be evaporating faster by the hour compared to all the initial forecasts much to my satisfaction
-2.8C at 00:35. Very cold in southern England tonight. It's already -7C at RAF Benson, near Oxford. Widespread -5's already. I reckon -10C must be possible in the subtropical southern england in the next few hours.
Really really bad luck for us tonight. The front came already with rain here first and then turned to snow just 50 km further inland.
So while most of Germany lies under a white blanket, the North Sea coast has been left out- which really disappoints me being a winter nut.
