Classic. According to Italian weather sites and meteorologists today we would have had "super heat", "scorching temperatures", "heat records broken for May".

Overexaggerating media, just as same like here
It's below average for early May. There is a heatwave over the Mediterranean but isn't going to have any effect here, it's cooler than the past days. They regularly mistake forecasts because they predict temperatures automatically using weather models without knowing local climates. And of course they always over exaggerate everything.
29,8 C the highest temperature in Ioannina today! A hot day and quite humid! 71% the average humidity for the day. The lowest temperature for the day was 10,7 C. Now the temperature is at 27,4 C with RH at 52% and many clouds. In Serres the temperature reached 31,6 C today and the lowest was 13,7 C.
