I've had 4 thunder storms very gusty winds when they arrive too.
No thunder here today but a few rain showers knocking about. I can see on the lightning map that a storm went east of Leeds which explains the very dark skies that I saw over the M1 earlier. Maybe we will get a storm in August like the past two years.
7C and mostly cloudy right now so feeling cold. Tomorrow looks better.
We've just had a decent thunderstorm. Plenty of thunder and lightning, and some fairly large hail by our standards. I was getting worried for my car actually ha!
The east looks like it had fun again. Here we only get one thunderstorm a year, so I'm not too disappointed. Just a typical cold day today so given the showers were a disappointment it was nice to get sunny spells in between.
