2c with a freezing NE wind at 17:28. The coast, especially the southern half, is experiencing strong bora, with sustained wind speeds up to 90 km/h in Makarska (101 km/h on the Bjelašnica mountain), and gusts up to 150 km/h in the Velebit channel, inland Dalmatia and the Brač channel. The bora is forecast to get stronger this evening, so gusts above 200 km/h are possible.
First day of the cold snap here, with some rain & strong cold winds. The temperature was 16C around midnight but gradually dropped to 12.2C by 9am & rose only to 13.5C this afternoon...
