Few years ago I used to live in Winnipeg. The Winter capital of Canada. When I planned to leave Winnipeg, I watched webcams of Niagara Falls (Sheraton on the Falls webcam and EarthCam - Niagara Falls Cam and for my years watching webcams there was little freezing & snow over the Winter.

Fast Forward to 2012 when I finally leave Winnipeg to Niagara. That Winter and the 2 since have all been unbearably cold, Waterfalls freezing over, polar vortexes, blizzards and all that crap. THIS year Niagara Falls had the coldest February on record.

For the past couple weeks, mornings been consistently warmer in Winnipeg than in Niagara Falls. In fact right now its -5c in Niagara Falls and +0 in Winnipeg.

If I didn't know any better I would say that winter literally FOLLOWED me from Winnipeg to Niagara Falls. Un-fu<king-BELIVEABLE. *PART* of the reason I left Winnipeg was the Winters. I dont mind a bit of snow but when you start mixing cold weather + blowing winds = a windchill.....Yeaaaaaaah windchills just arent my cup of coffee

Hey anyone wanna make a bet that if I went back to Winnipeg this summer that next Winnipeg Winter be brutally cold and Niagara Falls will be mild with no major blizzards. However if I remain in Niagara Falls then Winnipeg will have another decent winter and Niagara Falls will be brutalized by the weather again.

Anyone up for a bet??
